Greeting from the Italy!!

Post by Raphael »

Hello everybody!
I'm not sure that this is the right section but...

I'm Raphael/Raffaele, i know MonstroMorini, i'm writing from Italy and i've a beautiful black/white Corsaro 1200 my 2010.

With some friends I built a new italian forum about Moto Morini 1200. Its name is Corsacorta.it and it has the auto translator!!! http://www.corsacorta.it

Image

http://www.corsacorta.it is officially supported by Moto Morini motorcycles.

There is also a section for direct contacts with MoMo.

Enroll to the forum and write in english.. and you will find also a translator for the threads.

We have in the forum two big people of moto morini.. actual tester and the developer and old tester... so you can have support!

See You soon!!!!

Hi Raphael,

Thanks for the link - will definitely check the website out!

Being Italian, and an MM fan, you might be able to help me find something on-line!

I presume you are familiar with the MoMo website. If so, have you seen the 'Casa Moto Morini' Events, Video and Gallery page? http://www.motomorinimotorcycles.eu/ind ... 39&lang=en

The page suggests "Mr. Parodi and Mr. Maestri" went to the Isle of Man TT this year on an MM 11 1/2.

Seeing as I am having trouble finding any footage online of the 11 1/2 in action, I was wondering if you might know where I might be able to view this episode?

Thanks very much,
Ben

Hi Ben / Raphael,

I found some blog photos here.
http://www.borntoride.mediaset.it/page/6/

This seems to be the TV video archive but I can't find the TT programmes.
http://www.video.mediaset.it/programma/ ... ideo.shtml

Hope that helps,
John

Hi John - thanks for the reply - appreciated.

I had seen the video archive page (with no footage of the TT trip! ), but not the blog photos, so thanks very much for that!! Funny how all the photos are of the Corsaro though!!

It seems the 11 1/2 still has to catch on to a certain extent….. I think I must have watched almost every MM video ever uploaded to YouTube, but can still find very little footage of one in action.

Oh well, maybe when the riding season kicks off again! :D

All the best, and ride safe.

Raphael,

No problem - thanks for the response!

I didn't really expect you to have any 11 1/2 videos….I was more hoping that you could decipher the website in question, what with being Italian and all !! :D Its really hard trying to convert a website using Google Translate!

I was just wondering whether it would be more obvious to a native using the website (http://www.video.mediaset.it/programma/ ... ideo.shtml) where some footage might be found?

Thanks again,
Ben

GOOGLE TRANSLATION (which may make absolutely no sense - it often doesn't when done the other way round!! ):

Raffaello,

Grazie ancora,
Ben
