Duxford Airshow

Post by Tom »

Hi Morinisti di Angleterre,

I will be out and about tomorrow on my Camel 1, over to your fine countryside to visit the Duxford airshow!

I want to camp for the night (saturday and sunday) but i am having difficulties finding a nice little campsite, the ones i can find are or fully booked, or are seem to be full with those plastic mobile homes, tv, toilet, spoiling the English country side.

My plan is to come over from Harwich, and then through the Sudbury, Halstead, Haverhill area to Cambridge.

Does anybody who maybe lives there, knows of a nice little place where i can pitch my tent and park my Camel :?:

Any ideas are more then welcome

Try www.ukcampsites.co.uk

Essex, Suffolk, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire as search areas.

Duxford is great. Weather looks good. Enjoy yourself.

Hi Guys,

we went to the Brighthouse farm near Bury st Edmunds:

What a sweet little camping place, and we did some fun hedge to hedge touring through Suffolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire.

It was a little bit of practise on the left, but we made it back in one piece, and i already miss the motorcycle minded and friendly admosfere in that part of your country. It was something different when we where on the right again this morning
