Wanted: Standard exhaust end can

Post by nfitz »

Just noticed that at 9,000miles the baffle inside the stock end can has worked itself loose! So I have a nice rattle over bumps and a raspy exhaust note

Has anyone got an original GP end can for sale ....

I would like to help ,but I am keeping the standard can for resale . Th gpr can is good value , if you can find the uk seller who was selling them on eBay ,send him an email an offer him £250 for one . Long story short ,I offered that price but bought the one from Italy as I had no reply ,but Sod's law rear'd it's head no sooner had I paid I had an email accepting be offer .doh!

Sorted - purchased a 2nd hand GP exhaust off a German dealer breaking a GP. I will get this opened (its showing the same loose baffle failure as mine) and re-worked and then replace mine when sorted.
Also picked up a pair of GP foot peg/gear lever aluminium brackets as mine are looking like they are stressed with surface crack.
