Leaking coolfluid

Post by gianni »

Noticed that my GP is leaking coolingfluid

It is where the tube is connected tot the rearcilinder. First i thougt it was the clamping of the tube that was fitting but it seems to be the nossel that is mounted on the rear cilinder
Is ther an o ring or gasket behind this part, or will it just open it clean it and tighten again,

anybody had similar problems and ideas about repairing this problem

There i an 'o' ring i thought mine was leaking from there but it was the clips instead and it only leaked for a few second as the thermostat opened during warming up.

I replaced my hose clips with jubilee clips .. as said, they only leak when first starting up ( I presume the hose is only open while the engine is cold)but at least this way you can check and prevent it reoccurring
