Heated grips question

Post by Gedge »

I have just bought the official heated grips for the GP..
I found the large multi block connector on the headstock, and have managed to fit the grips etc..
what eludes me is where the other 2 wire connector should be connected..?
I assume this is the power supply? and as it has a connector already fitted I was expecting to find a suitable spare somewhere on the bike but no luck..

anyone know where this connector should be connected?? the instructions dont even mention the wiring, just a wiring diagram with no other clues

If anyone has any idea, or can see the location on their own bike I would be very grateful 8)

If I'm right it connects to the battery charger point mentioned on page 78 of your use and service manual

£126.. they were dead easy to fit once you found out that the connector I mentioned is in fact an auxiliary power lead for something like a heated jacket/sat nav etc...so the grips are almost plug and play.. 8)

Then someone is trying it on...3X have them in stock and they were definitely £126 plus some pennies... and that included the VAT
