Hi guys,
in 2008 the Corsaro Veloce was 1st in the Roadster Cup Championship Italy, with Franco Zenatello (91 points) and the 2nd place was Benelli TNT with Angelo Conti (86 points).

in the 2009 the Roadster Cup is at the 3rd race and Franco Zenatello with Corsaro Veloce is 1st with 92 points while the 2nd is Lorenzo Segoni (Benelli TNT) with 66 points.

Hi Manolo,

Thanks for the pics, we in the Uk (well those that can't speak the language) have no real access to what goes on in Italy. Good to see that Morini are leading the way. Have you any news of Morini's racing plans? Will we see a Morini racing outside of Italy? The bike clearly has the potential and with the right rider could trouble some of the larger manufacturers. At the moment Morini only sell a small number of bikes in the UK and a better profile on the race scene would bring much needed publicity to the brand. How have the bikes sold in Italy? How do they compare with Ducati, Moto Guzzi, Aprillia, Benelli sales?

Well, let us be clear as possible, next Morini in the Roadster trophy races will be on 13 September in Vallelunga and 18 October to Misano.
As regards sales, are not many, but since last year are increasing, ever but comparable to Ducati and Aprilia, well even the Guzzi and so so the Benelli....

I am happy to provide news from Italy for all the friends

Manalo;

News from Italy would be great - we speak to the factory occasionally, but a view from reality would help!

The club are visiting Morini on 5th October, for a trip around the factory - it's a Monday but we'll be in Bologna on the Sunday through to Tuesday... It would be good to meet up if possible! A trip around the factory would be good, as well :)

from the final interview of Zenatello:
"I course and I win the first race of the roadster cup, with a moto morini, we are happy to win, because last year we won the League, and seemed to be a matter of luck, instead with this victory we understood and made it clear to our opponents moto morini has returned winning, it is a great bike and beautiful by driving and results do it see"

Hi Manola,

Great video link, good to see Morini at the front and showing every one the way round. Is this a works supported bike as I couldn't see any other Morini's in the race. If so are there any trick bits. It looks quick although cornering was pretty impressive as well.
Safe riding

Franky;

We'll ask the Factory for some info about the racer - and if parts for it are available - when we visit in October... :)
