recently 3x sold of cylinder heads sutable for granpasso, scrambler and the veloce. All the same head.
I know the corsaro had larger valves, so what's the difference in that the veloce is lumped together with the lower output 9.5 , granpasso etc as they seem to share the same head with the smaller valves. I thought the veloce was the premium . i.e a corsaro with upgraded suspension parts, but it appears it doesn't share the corsaro valve sizes.
Did the factory just standardise to cut costs by using the same heads?

no twisty, there is a mistake in the parts catalog!twisty wrote:......... but it appears it doesn't share the corsaro valve sizes.

you can identify the heads from outside with help of the index:
464 A ... = smale valve size (corsaro avio, 9 1/2, 1200 sport, scrambler, granpasso)
464 .... = large valve size (corsaro + corsaro veloce)
corsaro (not avio!) and corsaro veloce always have the same valve sizes and cylinder head index without "A"!
in ital-web.de i wrote a little bit about the difference of the cylinder heads.
look HERE
sorry, my english is not the best
