Veloce questions

Hi All,
2 Questions......
1) on the throttle bodies there is a tube sticking out in the centre (centre of bypass connections) should it have a hose connected to it?

2) is the slipper clutch (anti hopping) adjustable or do the clutch spring tensions determine the slipping rate.
I don't have any clutch slip at all in forward gears even on very hard acceleration but it slips easily on deceleration when changing down

Hi,
dont know anything about first question.

Regarding the second one, that is exactly the way the slipper clutch should work. No slip on acceleration and no wheel blocking on downshifting. If you want to adjust sensitivity during downshifting, this slipper clutch is AFAIK not adjustable.

Hi Franco,
thanks for the reply, I understand its purpose to stop the back wheel from "hopping" on severe gear changing, however it feels like it is to responsive and often comes in when I change from 4th to 3rd gear while I'm looking for a little engine braking
I have a slipper on my factory Tuono and it's possible to change the slipping preload on the clutch to suit your riding style.
Re my question concerning the throttle body I will post a picture tonight.

Cheers for the reply Dave H,
I was a little puzzled as to why there is a swage on the end of the tube, thought there might be some sort of connection within the airbox ...........the works manual doesn't give any clear pictures of this area.
ive started getting decel popping and have checked the exhaust pipes for any leaks, so now checking throttle bodies for any blocked areas or loose connections, I will also treat her to some new plugs.
