After a close examination it was found that the starter solenoid has a 25 amp fuse and this is located on the frame on the left side behind the radiator. The fuse had not blown but was corroded and one of the legs fell out when it was removed. 50p later and I had 2 fuses and a running bike.... does it rain in Italy?
