Morini article in Bike.

Post by MarkB »

There's a good article by Rupert Paul in the latest issue of Bike magazine (August) about the current developments at Moto Morini. 'Whether in their 70s heyday, when they produced the seminal 3 1/2, or after their revival in 2005 with the stupendous 1200, the Italian v-twins have been a talisman for romantics and dreamers. Very often the bikes are also surprisingly good - but nobody else knows, and that's the whole point.'

I think we should push this as much as we can to promote the Big V. The more owners we have the brighter the future looks and the better there second hand market may be.

I've bought the last 2 issues of Berk. One for the BMW RnineT t'other for the Moroni article. It was a good article. The 11 1/2 looks a good bike but....

Why is there a different engine in this bike than the Corsaro / Rebello? The 'new' engine is supposed to be more economical and with a 21 litre tank that would make the 11 1/2 a great bike.

I am starting to prefer Berk to Motorcycle bore and pleasure.
