Corsaro clutch lever.

Post by Beveldrive »

Hi folks, about two weeks ago I made an embarrassing "rookie" mistake.
I parked the Veloce on a slight down hill incline, I kicked the side stand down and as I walked away the stand folded and she fell to the left.
I saw it happen from the corner of my eye but alas, my cat like reflexes failed me and the Morini bit the dust.
Luckily the only damage was a broken clutch lever, a scuffed bar end, a ruined pair of jeans and a cut to my knee due to the number plate slashing me on the way down.
New jeans are fairly cheap and the knee is healing well.

My question to the collective is; Does the ('08) Corsaro Veloce use the same levers as the Granpasso?
I've found a clutch lever described as Granpasso on eBay which looks correct and I hit the "Buy now" button, I sent a message to the seller asking them to confirm if will also fit the Corsaro and received a message back saying that they had cancelled my order because they weren't sure.
It's the lever with the ugly little black plastic adjusting knob. I'm thinking they are playing it safe and trying to protect their reputation from possible negative feedback.
What do you lot think?
