Corsaro solo chain adjustment technique

Post by Gary D »

Hi

I'm Gary & I'm the proud new owner of 2006 Cosaro, which I'm just just beginning to find my way around. The handbook suggests the drive chain is adjusted with someone sat on it? My circumstances don't make that very easy! Has anyone come up with a good chain slack figure for the bike placed either on a paddock stand, or the side stand? I 'd really appreciate any tips you might have.

Thanks & regards,

Gary

I think you measure off the sidestand but both wheels on the ground. I used to lean it against me and measure with a steel rule.... can be done.

Hi

Thanks for taking the time to reply. It seems a bit of a nerve shredding process..back nerves & stress nerves :( ! However, I think you're probably right & that's what maybe must be done? I'll look forward to it :?

Thanks again,

Gary
