Veloce head work

Post by backfat1187 »

Following my recent timing calamity, the heads are going to have to come off the Veloce. I was thinking about getting them improved. Nothing drastic. Maybe some mild port work and a general refresh. Possibly slightly larger valves...
I was considering using CJS in Bristol but he's stacked out with dyno work. There's Alex at Maniac in Germany but the exchange rate being what it is and the cost of postage etc...
There are many tuning shops out there as there are many tattoo places. I don't want to end up with the gas flow equivalent of a crap tattoo. Any recommendations?
Cheers all

Hello! For reliability issues do not forget to change the valve-guides to bronze. Renault 1.5 dci engine has almost the same guides made of bronze.
