Clutch springs

Post by backfat1187 »

Greetings all
So since replacing 2 steels to get the slipper clutch back plate movement within spec, the slipper clutch now works as it should. Neutral is a bit easier to find at standstill and the clutch action is a little lighter.
However, the clutch now slips under acceleration. It's only when wide open in the top 3 gears so not a massive problem on the queens highway, but it's not right and will only get worse.
Anyone fitted heavier springs? If so, could you point me in the direction you got them. I can't see any Morini uprated items and the only Benelli replacements I've found are OE spec.
Cheers
Jim
