leaking clutch fluid form reservoir - anyone else got one?

Post by nfitz »

I have noticed over the past month or so that the clutch fluid reservoir is weeping at the gasket. I have unscrewed the lid, checked fluid levels and cleaned and replaced to on avail.
I have heard that the actuato (inside the part bolted on the LHD side of the engine/gearbox) may have stuck or not seated propery.

Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix ... is this a waranty item even though ive changes the fluid 6 months back?

Franky - I'm still waiting for some replacement MM decals so I can finish of the re-painting and put the bike back together.
I've got the ECU re-maped ready to talk to the PC111 and a plastic pasencer seat to make the bike "single seat " from Maniac Motors.

When the bikes back in 1 pice I have to get it into a MM dealer for its service, upgrades and TPS and CO levels to be re-set and then off to a dyno..

So plenty to do over winter.

Slight damage to the clutch cover which I have sandblasted out and had it re-pinted as a colour match.
