Linkage bushes

Post by johnwh »

Hi
I have an early 1200 Corsaro and am changing the Sachs for a new unit and when I removed the bolt that connects the linkage to the engine the left side did not have a metal bush between the outer caps. The right side had a bush and a cap on the linkage side with not one under the nut. Before I slackened the nut there was some side ways movement.
The diagram in the manual is somewhat confusing so thought I would check on the forum.
Should there be a metal bush both sides on the engine mounts that accepts the linkage?
The other question is how do I get part number or would it be best to get an engineering shop whip one up?
Cheers John

Hi. May I ask where you got the manual form and does it cover the Veloce as well?
