I hope you are well.
Can't be absolutely sure but I believe the bike was sold in 2008/9 from North Leicester pre-registered with a handful of miles on the clock.
As always this forum will give you some clues as the owner Mark NI posted a few pics.
If its the same bike Mark traded the bike into the Italian dealer in Shipley for a 1100 Guzzi.
I brought a tank bag off him for my 9 1/2 and he sold some of the other extras on e-bay.
Bike looks clean and would represent a good buy particularly when you compare some of the prices being asked for the older V's.
I'm pleased you and Mike are enjoying your Corsaro's.

It's not a problem Mike, normally a question I've been asked by novice Corsaro owners who get to grips with it in the end. Oooouch!

That is indeed my bike, and boy do i miss her.
When I traded her in a little over a year ago, to Moto Strada, she had a tank cover to protect the tank.
The bike came from north leicester with 21 miles on her, she was re-stricted, run in and very well looked after.
Only issue I ever had was when you washed her or caught out in a very heavy rain shower, the high beam stuck on, never bothered me, least people knew i was there
If i had the funds I would buy her back.
I believe she went back onto her mainland number plate so should be 57 plate.

Hi Paul, the Guzzi has moved on too, only kept her to Jan, great bike but wanted her mint and couldnt afford to do her justice, now got a buell 1125 cr, but i keep popping my head in here as you can see.

Cheers

Mark

Hi Mark
My Corsaro was issued with a NI number when it was new, and I got it from 3X last year after it belonged to Furskin, who was a member of the club. Do you know the origins of my Corsaro, a long shot but he or she may have been a member of the MM Riders and you are in NI then you may be able to help.
Many thanks.

Do you have any pics of the Corsaro?
I may be able to point you in the right direction of a previous owner

Cheers

Hi Mark
The NI reg was SLZ3109, it's a silver grey and black Corsaro from 06 with the Termigoni upgrade.
Thanks,

Hi George,

I cant be 100% sure but I think that bike belonged to Dave before he bought the GP.

Worth dropping him a PM, may be able to provide you with some more info

Are you thinking of buying the 9 1/2 as well as the Corsaro?

Cheers

Hi Mark
Thanks for that.
I've sent Dave a PM, so we'll soon know what the score is.
I was looking at the 3 1/2 to see if it maybe a replacement for my Blade as a pillion carrier.
But I don't want all my eggs in one basket, so I'll persevere with the Honda.
Thanks.

Hope he can help.

I know what you mean George, least you know you can get parts for the blade ok.
I did have the 9 1/2 2 up on several occasions and it didn't bother it at all and was comfy for the pillion
Sometimes I wish I had changed the 9 1/2 for a corsaro.
Cheers

Thanks Mark
I have spoken to Dave and am happy with the outcome.
Take care and keep in touch, I want to go to the NW200 again in the future, so maybe we could meet up?

Well I bought the 9 1/2 today and have just got back from Preston with it. Not yet ridden it but it is a true credit to previous owners ...its immaculate !!

Those that read the November issue of RIDE with the corsaro / 9 1/2 stuff in it will know I have a nice Corsaro Veloce with about 6000 miles on the clock, but 30 years ago some R Sole (wonder if the webmaestro will castigate me for that) bashed me off my drum brake 3 1/2 sport and shattered my Pelvis. I think the compensation paid off my crediot cards and bought a cott for the bratt (wonder if the webmaestro will castigate me for that) and all has been fine but now I am starting to find a certain stiffening and I cannot get my leg over so easily (wonder if the webmaestro will castigate me for that).

No you tweps my Corsaro pillion seat!

Hence the purchase of the 9 1/2 which is great legover wise. There is no way you would want to be without a latest generation Morini V twin after having tried one. Those that know me will also know my bike garage is a bit diverse so I reckon I have fair idea of what I am talking about.

Anyhow

Who wants to buy a CORSARO VELOCE ?
Alturnativly where can I buy Elton John Motorcycle boots ?
Anybody fitted a proper set of panniers to a 9 1/2 ?

God save the King (& my pistons)

Hi Arthur.

Welcome to the dodgy hips club  Mine make getting on and off a tall bike a bit of a struggle these days. To be fair it's not just the height but the combination of height and weight - so I can manage the YZ250 - so long as I have a box to stand on to start the beast.

I went and had a sit on a 9 1/2 when the Voxan Roadster (lovely low seat height) died and I decided to part with it. I found the Morini felt a bit too high and heavy at standstill (though not as bad as a Gran Passo eh Chris  ). So I bought the Shiver which is OK although if I'd gone for the latest version would have an even lower seat height it seems.

I'd love a Corsaro Veloce but sense must prevail. Get Lambertini to build a not too high 600 single and I'll be first in the queue.
