losing time

Post by beanpm »

First post to this - so apologies in advance.
I have had the 91/2 for just over a year now, inebriated e-bay purchase. really enjoyed it and no real issues other than owner stupidity, but there is one rather trivial but annoying issue that I wondered if anyone else had found a fix for

if the starter fails to catch the clock (ie the time) resets itself to 0.00. All other settings are fine.

is there a way around this - or is it a case of "if this is the worst problem you have ...."

That normally only happens when your battery is low (i don't know why, though). So if you use the bike irregulary, maybe using a trickle loader will help.
And yes, if that is all
