Scrambler now has choice of chunky or not so chunky wheels - due out in late February / March.

Will the sun be shining on warm(er) tarmac by then? :(

Let's hope there is a very long spell of warm weather!

As to the tyres: I believe that 3X have been discussing the tyre choices for the scrambler with MM (and a bit of input from yours truly).

The chunky ones are Michelin Karoo's and whereas these would look better they have no real shoulder, for committed cornering on the road.

My KTM had them as standard and they were replaced with Pirelli Scorpions.:D'

I found myself piling into roundabouts at a fair lick, only to back-off in order to avoid the front end washing-out.

The Scrambler with another 18bhp would therefore make life 'interesting'

The Scrambler is likely to be imported with the road-oriented rubber and the with the Karoos' fitted to special order.

Hope this helps and looking forward to seeing a Scrambler 'in the metal'. :P
