So I need some help and advice here, please.
The DVLA have sent my Documents back, which include a Spanish "Duplicate" log book in Spanish.
They say this is not good enough for the vehicle to be dated correctly.
I have looked at the DVLA List of Vehicle Owners Clubs to get dating information and non exist for our Moto Morini Machines.
Trawling through the MRC Forum I seem to have found that NLM will provide the service for me. Does anyone have the experience of this? They have been more than helpful with providing me with spares to get her back on the road.

Does Stuart do this for MRC members, naturally I will pay.

Hi George, yes he does do this service, no idea about costs though. I will be needing the service too, hopefully in a month or two. Last time I asked Stuart about this he complained that Swansea were being very awkward lately. Good luck though!

Thanks Steve. I remember him telling me to get the docs in early to prevent any problems. I didn't think this would be a problem.
Cheers.

The 2C I acquired last November came with a dating certificate from NLM and a receipt for the service for £24.

Well, "Alls well that ends well".

I just received conformation that the registration has come through for the Strada.

This has been for me a "Fast Track" experience. I got the bike in May and had it ready for Mot on the 9th of August.

I have had a great deal of support with the rebuild and would like to thank those that have supported me with advice and reassurance.

First and foremost "Bison" has answered all my queries on Email without hesitation and I have not had to wait for a reply at all. Cheers Alan. Thanks for the humour.

Next up comes NLM, esp' Rob for all the stupid questions I have asked him, and the knowledge of the parts that he has in his stock. Many thanks Rob.

Barbara in NLM, who sent me a "Dating Letter" for the DVLA. All sorted, Many Thanks.

Complete engineering Services, who pressed my Swing Arm bushes and reamed the out for me. Carlisle CA6 4RA. Many thanks for your support.

Also to the DVLA for patiently answering the telephone to my repeated, "Is it ready yet?"

And of course to all the members who added their experiences, as well. Thanks

So off to http://www.motoclubindianos.com/index.php/en/

Hope to see others there.

Good to hear your registration has been sorted George, as soon as I have a complete bike I'll be going through the same process, only I have no docs for it-nothing!
Any tips?

I have a rough tank that is available FoC if it's any use to you? It has dents, filler and burnt 'orrible paint work. Other than that it's lovely! It was in service on my bike for a year or two and is good inside, no rust or leaks etc.

All I can say is that I had what I thought was a complete "Doc set".

DVLA wanted details in English of the manufacturers build date.

NLM provided that and also a confirmation of photos that I had taken of the Frame Number and also of the completed bike. I also had the "Sale" invoice, if you describe the bit of paper as an invoice. It seems they also are very keen of the fact that you have told HMRC about how much you paid for it and that it is exempt of VAT.

I must say that I rang DVLA 3 times and they could not have been more helpful.

It's a bit nerve racking as when they sent back the 1st rejection, the final sentence asks, "If you wish to re- apply with the registration", almost as if you naughty boy, you should know better. :D

Good Luck. I'm sure it will fine.
