I made a pair of panniers by cutting a ‘Grundybin’ kitchen box in half!

Wow! very trendy! Well done.
Almost as neat as the 'width of a car' ones that BMW (and other) "adventurer" riders fit to stop them filtering through traffic, but yours look nicely tucked in.
Low enough cost to not care if something scratches them either.

Thanks George. They’re made of scrap materials I found in skips.... except for rivets, silicon, latches and some craven qd mountings. The size was dictated by the original box and position allows for a pillion. I mounted the indicators on a bit of steel tube I found.
The box was conveniently pre-distressed!
