Which Mupo unit did you get? Did you perhaps look into getting the OEM shock resprung to suit your weight?

How many miles has your Scrambler done? My last new engine took over 2,000 miles to run in and is only now bedding down nicely at 5,000 +...

9K miles, so it should be as good as it gets, I imagine? Big Ducatis of the early 2000s ( I still have a much-loved ST4) got better and better right up to 25K!

Yep - should be run in now, although doing a few regular runs should clear it out!

Enjoy the good weather (if you live in the south, that is...) and possibly get to a Morini Club meeting - I hear that Tom is doing one in the Midlands next week!
