MARZOOCCHI FORK INTERNALS ID

Post by Matt Hale »

HI All
Can you assist me on fork internals..whether correct or OK damping set up..it's actually for a friend who wants them on his Egli Vincent...There are different set ups on each fork which may be correct or OK to use [eg Maxton offer diff on each leg- one for rebound and one for damping]...Perhaps these are an early version of this? He just wants to use on the road and know they are safe.
Please see tech pics here and Q's below--very many thanks for any of your time on this !
Q1.Do you recognise the damping arrangements? Are all the components there?
Q2. Should the bottom of these tubes have a bush on them?
Q3. Oil recommendation ?

many thanks !!- matt

Hi Matt.

If you are currently a member of the MRC you can access a Marzocchi Manual, with exploded diagrams, in the Members area of this site. Click on where it says 'Home' and go from there. Your username and password will be on your membership card.
