Post by fin »

Hi
Im looking at it dripping out past the castellated nut.
Am thinking valves or pistons?

Cold cylinder so poor/no ignition plugs oily and traces of white smoke seems more sinister than the breather tube shut her down right away sorry but im thinking rings/seals.

Cold cylinder?? Are you sure it's oil not unburnt petrol/soot?? I've had the same thing happen when the float needle stuck one time and filled the cylinder with petrol, it came out black and sludgey and looked like oil at first glance.

Sounds like time to take the head off then  It's got to be something drastic to chuck oil out of the exhaust. Any other bike I'd suspect a holed piston but I've never heard of a Morini holing a piston.
