More Fiddling Accomplished

Post by Paul the Destroyer »

I managed to get the fork seals done today.

What a lovely easy job that was too, and we now have control at the front end.

Road test needed and a new mind set used (thrasher) and they really move once they are over 6k revs don't they?

Topped out at 140K on the errrrrr (cough) private airstrip nearby.

Wheeee!!!!

Indeed they do go well once singing. That's what they were built for. Mine was going so well on Friday that I'm going to fit a standard size gearbox sprocket back on for the Dijon trip as on the 'hill climb' one with 1 tooth less it flies along well for scratching but a reduction in revs for long distances will be more restful.
