Im whipping out the crank and have run into a snag. I omitted too loosen the nut on the primary drive/oilpump worm gear side while i could lock up the engine and now i cant get any purchase on the nut.
I see there are two holes in the drive gear for some special tool maybe but does anyone have any experiance on the subject. Thanks Mike

Re: crank rebuild
Hi,
You can always try putting a piece of soft aluminium sheet (about 4mm thick) between the teeth of the primary gears (lower side to undo) and let it tighten between the teeth as you undo the nut. Doesn't cause any damage to the gears, and will allow you to undo the nut.
George.
