fuel cap

Hello everyone. I'm actually in the process of rebuilding a 1974 Honda CB450, but with a Moto Morini 125H gas tank. I had all of the tins painted, including the tank and fuel cap. Now, I'm regretting painting the cap and wonder what my alternatives would be.

I have found, it seems, an exact replacement, which looks like:

I wonder if anyone knows if there might be a pop up style cap that twists on this way? Or an adapter that would allow a pop up cap? Or, simply other styles of twist on caps that use the same fitment?

I really appreciate any feedback. I have been searching the web and in many cases can not ascertain if they attach the same as stock.
