Cable-operated choke mod

Post by Daddy Dom »

On the strength of this thread, viewtopic.php?f=4&t=2471, I contacted Eurocarb who replied that the VHBZ25HS can be retrofitted with these parts http://www.dellorto.co.uk/Merchandise/p ... ctionID=24 to enable a cable-operated choke system. Cables and levers are not specified, though. I think some people in the original thread have fitted levers from a 500.

I have to say that I like the idea of both cylinders on a little choke as opposed to just one revving at 3k, even though my choking needs aren't huge.
Cheers,

I did the same yesterday. The new tops Re approx 30 plus vat. Cables, splitter and choke lever will then be required

These tops are not triangular like my originals but will fit. The big question is whether the improvement I seek is worth paying 50 for.

I can make new choke triggers for pennies but it is not what I want to do really.
