Interesting photo - you could run a competition on the differences even then! Thanks for posting it, Hombre!

That is a great pic of the two Sports and there is some interesting stuff on that archive. I 'liked' the pic of a rider in full gear on a blue 350 with a woman on the back in jeans and shirt - no protective gear at all (Motociclismo 1974). I haven't seen the archive before.

I used to work for 'Motor' a Dutch magazine and they shared lots of magazines with publishers all around the world, so piles of magazines were filling the office. Once in a while they threw it all away and that's when I saw my chance and took out all the articles with Morini's. At another publisher I scanned the whole lot in the easy hours and it's all online now thanks to a chap in the US. The original articles are now all in the Morini museum in NL... (it saved me a bookshelf ;) )

Hi there, do you have your 3 1/2 running? I have mine ready now and it's also a 375. I was wondering what carburation setup I should use. I now have the standard jetting etc. She runs fine, especially around 5000 rpm (according to the vague liar ;) ) but since I am still running in I am being careful. Below 4000 it's a bit rough and it's quite hard to start especially when warm. Any ideas?

It’s still at Antietam Classic Cycle. Charles is putting the finishing touches on the bike.

Full disclosure - I’ve never ridden a motorcycle or worked on one (before this bike).

Thanks to Antietam Classic Cycle, bike #1 is done. I'm almost done tearing down bike #2. I hope Charles will have time to work his magic again.

Beautiful. A credit to all concerned.

I hadn't noticed the link to Hombre's Morini photo archive before. It reminded me that my 2C/375 was originally the Harglo road test bike and the 1981 'Which Bike' PDF has photos of it before I got my hands on it in 1982
