tarozzi rear sets with side stand

Post by murfin3363 »

I have decided to fit a side stand to my rear set shod 350 and in doing this find the stand when folded up fouls with the rear brake lever.
Has any one else come across this problem or is it just use the centre stand ?

Hi, you need to remove the stand and get some heat on it to bend the stand .Youll need to get the stand powder coated when finished

Can you post a picture? My stands are nowhere near my Tarozzi rear sets. Are you rear drum or disc?

A thousand words ;)
My lever is rotated higher up than yours - have you tried that already or is it a bad position for you?

Yes tried that but lever to high to operate with bike boots on, oh well centre stand it is then. Thanks anyway.

Something was bugging me about the angles here so I took a photo of mine. Yours seems radically different. Without a wider shot of yours I can't tell why, though.
Also, I wear clunky boots and my lever is pretty far south but yours seems far too close to me. Anyway, I hope this helps in some way.
Cheers, DD
