Hi All,
Getting my 77 back together and I'm planning for the gauges now. When I got it, there were no clocks, just this bracket - complete with the little Morini badge.
Now that I've gotten my hands on a 350 speedo, I can see that it's drastically smaller than these mounts - they seem to be original to the MM, but are a lot bigger than any gauges I have seen.
These brackets mounted on the fork tube caps. Anyone know more about these?
Anyone know about these gauge mounts?

They are from an early Strada. The tacho and speedo fit into rubber mounts, which fit into the brackets. Warning lights fit in the small holes. http://www.startgomma.com show the rubber mounts on their web site for 80 euro a pair.

NLM may have the "sleeve couplings" (pattern replacements) 46.03.08 at a lower price. You may also need the sleeve cover 32.01.25 and clips 26.01.25.

Ah - thanks guys. That makes sense. Would love to use them, but 80E is a bit too precious. Will check w/ NLM or have a local cutter do a little bracket for me.

Hi,
It is always worth rubber mounting the clocks, else you will find yourself paying out for repairs as they will probably vibrate to pieces!
It is worth asking about s/h parts as well - they don't usually wear out. There are a few people who advertise in ATG, otherwise try a wanted ad on the forum.
Regards,
George.

I'll take the early strada mount off your hands if won't use it...
Re: Anyone know about these gauge mounts?
does the early 350 sport have a different mounting?

Re: Anyone know about these gauge mounts?
Thanks all - they're actually exactly what I wanted to use for my gauges, but I didn't know about the rubber bits. Makes sense.
Going to hold on to these for now, but will have quite a few bits to offer up when this one is back on the road.
