Slight oil seepage from the bottom of the front cyclinder - any thoughts?

Hi, had the same problem occur on the front cylinder base on a 500 and fixed it by using Wellseal instead of the recommended silicone gasket compound.
I lived with the oil seepage for a while before fixing the problem; the rear was fine but I changed that too.
Not a serious problem, just enjoy!

PS Clean all jointing surfaces with a solvent first; Wellseal also makes it easier to separate parts and clean the jointing surfaces.
And is far better than Blue Hylomar if used on the clutch bearing sleeve.

I'm a believer in threebond sealant myself. Not a trace of doubt in my mind... Or you could just let it be. I've got a feeling,it won't be long that in spite of all the danger you'll get that leak sorted and you'll soon be happily riding down that long and winding road. Then you'll be glad all over...
OK I can't keep this up any longer.

On a more serious note, it means a taking the head and barrel off to clean up and put the sealant on?
