Where are you now! MHA 646P

Post by Sicxtyone »

Hi everyone,

A quick check with DVLC, and lo and behold my 76 Strada MHA 646P is still around, but on a sorn.
It would be interesting to learn what's been going on with the bike in the last 20 years.

I had the bike from 1979 until 1998, it was and maybe still is a great bike did I think over 40 thousand miles with it.
Regretted selling ever since.
If anyone has any idea of whereabouts it would be great to see it again.
I did quite a bit over the years including a full rebuild in 1984. It was "personalised " with quite a lot of stainless parts,
needle roller swing arm and taper roller head bearings.

Many thanks in advance
Graham.

Further to this, MHA 646P is now back on the south coast :D. Came up on eBay towards the end of July as part of a lot of bikes and bits. Went to near Norwich had a look and did a deal. Some may have seen the ad but in the flesh it was filthy and covered in what appeared wood dust. However a good wash and brush up and she's fairly presentable, new battery fitted and a short ride yesterday revealed a bit more ferttling required.
May try to ride the Corsaro meet on Saturday.

That's a happy ending indeed! Glad to hear I'm not the only one who tracks down their old bikes! Well, some of them anyway...
