Clutch pushrod continues

Post by MoriniMike »

Hi Guys. Having successfully solved my previous problem I notice I have a groove just below the head of the clutch pushrod at the basket end. Just where it goes through the seal. The bike has stood still sometime and I’m wondering if this is wear or as intended.
Thanks Mike

Hi Mike,

Its worn out. best to buy a new one and the rubber seal that is inside the nut.
The seal has likely hardened with age and with combination of grit/lack of lubricant worn the groove in the clutch pushrod.
