Strada Clocks Plastic Bit

Post by vincent »

Hi
Sorry about the vague title!
There is a piece of black plastic between the clocks on my Strada, just below the warning lights, and secured by the two hex bolts that secure the clocks. It just covers the clock steel brackets really.
Anyway, Its broken, and I've failed to find a new one . Anybody got one to sell, or can tell me where to get one? (Tried Mdina)
Thanks.

If this is the same as the black plastic shape I have on my Sport, which has no purpose other than as a styling ornament, then I can say mine was also partly broken at one end. I used a product called Plastex to repair it,then sprayed it black.
I have always thought it a good place to fit a small clock instead on a modified bracket of some sort.

Thanks John, yes it is just cosmetic. I did think of fibreglass and filler, but theres a fairly large bit missing, and I think it wouldn't look good. Good idea about the clock, though ive got one on the bars at the moment.
