K2 no carb balance take off points

Post by Brickboy »

I have come across a bit of a quandary. I have a lovely Carbtune, and plenty of adaptors, including for those funny holes on the Strada where you pull out the metal plugs.

But, on my K2 I see no entry point! Two bosses on the intake rubbers that look like they are designed for an entry point but they are blank.

Now, this is a great Morini challenge... Is there an answer before I get the drill out?

Cheers,

Simon

Hi, like the 500s they have a balance pipe between the carbs?
Pull this off and connect up your Carbtune pipes here.
Have fun, Ian

In the case you don't have any balancing pipe, how do people get connected to the carb. Do I still the boss in the rubber intake rubber?

Yes, you then need the barbed inserts, together with plugs / caps for them.

Thank you. Is there a link or place I can order the barbs?

I did have take off points and I now have a sweet, smooth engine and a 1250rpm tickover. Wonderful.
