Historic vehicle

Post by cliveo »

Can anyone tell me whether my bike is now tax and mot exempt
It's an import bike and according to the V5C date of first registration 16/06/1980
And date of first registration in the UK 17/08/2017
I've got a V112 form from the post office (Declaration of Exemption from Mot) but don't want to send it off to DVLA along with my V5C to get it registered as an historic vehicle if I'm wrong or have missed something out
Thanks Clive

I registered my 1980 250 vee this year as a Historic Vehicle without any problems, so it is now Mot and tax exempt.

Has to be forty (40) years old. No Mot's, No tax. Cheap motoring or what and you are exempt from clean air zones!

You can change the registration class whenever you like and if you have road tax, then you will get a refund.
