Having real trouble getting pistons back into front brake callipers with new tighter seals in place. Anyone got any tips?

I haven't tried on the Morini but I tend to put the piston in the freezer for 10 minutes or so and it pops right in.

Mine were very tight on the rear of my K1. Sufficient red rubber grease and care to get them going in absolutely square worked for me.

Thanks but I think the dimensions of the seals are wrong with the external diameter too big causing them to be squeezed in making it too tight for the pistons. MDINA are sending new ones so we will see.

I know there's a choice of inner diameters (16 or 19mm) but as far as I know, the o/d is the same for both.
Happy to be corrected, though.

Tried the new seals but dimensions 38mm inner diameter/45mm outer still mean the inner diameter being squeezed when the required dimensions are 38mm inner and 43mm outer. So no good. Have ordered some from Veltermotousa so we shall see.

Forget my above post - jetlag. I was commenting about m/cs not calipers.

Unfortunately the ones from Veltermotousa were too sloppy so brake fluid leaked around. Does anyone know of a good source of 38 mm calliper seals?
