Herdan don't have any! Hermy rarely updates his website and has far wider range of parts than is shown there. You have to phone and be in his good books.

I bought Hermy's last L5 and 2+2 a couple of years ago. I had them mastered and have copies of the 'L' cam on the shelf.

Myself and Tom have been collaborating on some cam research.

I should be able to provide cams soon, but I want to be sure just what I'm supplying first.

The 'L' vs 'L5-I' vs 'L5-II' debate has yet to be settled.

A lot of people said that the L and L5 both were marked only with L. But there are cams marked with L5!

I allways thought that the 501 from the Camel Electric Start has a L5. But when I had to open the motor a few years ago there was only a L on the cam  A friend of mine opened two 501 from the Coguaro and found ...L

I still wonder where the L5 I had in my hands some years ago do come from :?:

It is posible to change a 350 cam (sport or strada) to an L5. It´s not possible to do the same starting with a 500 cam, because you need the bigger "groundcircle" of the 350 cam to achieve the Lift of 5,95/5,65

Last two times we spent about 100-120 € for each cam, giving them about 10 units.

I might need one (apart from the one already in the 2c/375) as well.

Any info on where I might get a 350 Strada cam reground to L5 in the UK?

Soon would be nice. I'm waiting on my crankshaft at the moment. It is being modified for a roller bearing on the right hand site. It would be nice if i can put the engine back together again with the L5 can in it. I can then have a test on the dyno to look what the performance will be next year.

Pretty sure Ducati developments in Dortmund can supply a cam, reground to L5 spec, exchange, look them up, the guy who runs it is very helpful.

Thanks Alan. Did contact them and they charge 170 euros for a reshape of a Touring or Sport cam shaft.
