Morini 500W

1979 Morini 500 rebuilt from barn find condition for my own use: now changed plans! Original UK bike with matching numbers.As far as possible, this has been restored to original condition and has been completely stripped in the process and rebuilt to as new or better. The frame wheels etc were powder coated, a new replacement tank bought from NLM, brakes stripped with new seals, caliper pistons pads and front discs, the electrics rebuilt with remagnetised flywheel, the original loom repaired where needed and a nos switch cluster fitted. Instruments were overhauled, seat recovered by Leighton's. Tyres, chain and battery are new. The deviations from standard are stainless exhausts and silencers, a 350 front master cylinder, koni dial a ride shocks and a cibie headlight. The engine is entirely stock. Everything works beautifully, even the electric fuel tap and starter. It runs very sweetly and goes nicely, taxed and tested, V5 in my name. There is some history including the original invoice from Peter Williams motorcycles (of norton fame). I should really keep it but I need space and funds and this will leave me with my original 350, another 500 project and a 250 in boxes. I doubt there are many better 500s in existence - I won't recoup my costs of course but I am looking for somewhere around £3750. Vernon 07757 954747 evenings (N Essex) or PM me
