1984 3 1/2 Sport

Post by MarkB »

I've been contacted by Tony Blunt who's reluctantly selling his 3 1/2 Sport. I don't know Tony, who has been a club member, or the bike, but here are some details. Please PM me and I'll give you Tony's email and phone numbers. MarkB. (PS: my own Sport isn't for sale!)

1984 3 1/2 Sport, tidy and unrestored, had a motor overhaul (new bearings etc.) about 500 miles ago. I removed the electric starter motor years ago but I‘ve still got it so it could be refitted. I’ve owned it since 1996 and it has been the most reliable bike I’ve ever had, but arthritis means I can’t ride it any more. Currently on SORN but if someone definitely wants it I’ll get a new MOT straight away – it’ll pass. Cambelt has only done 500 miles but is now 4 years old, so probably ready for replacement. Looking for around £2,500. Please contact me to discuss. I’m based in North Dorset.
