Could you supply the diameter of the hole for the steering stem, please?

I will check, but maybe it helps if i tell you that the original 1974/1975 Marzocchi tremezzo Sport yoke has the same steering stem (external thread and high centre nut) opening as this one.

When I was concerned with the fork for Dulcinea (from a 74 Strada) I assembled a sport yoke (I think they stayed the same even after changing the steering stem from external thread with a nut to the internal thread with a screw). My problem was that I didn´t have a nut. Finaly I found out that the "steeringheadnut" from a Honda NSR 125 (Typ JC 22) fits perfectly. Maybe that could be interisting for somebody.

Here is a picture of a sport yoke and two models of stada yokes. I don´t know to which series the diferent strada yokes belong. I guess that the ones with the rubber blocks are the older ones because there are no borings for the instrumentcarrier. But looking at Toms yoke the form is diferent  As far as I know, they are all interchangable.

Hi Norbert,

Thanks for the info and the tip about the stem nut, they are often missing. I remember i could buy one from a British Ducati Shop, in stainless, i think it was Mdina Italia. It is definitely not a Morini top yoke, but will be 'plug and play' if you want to use it on your Morini. It looks very similar to the 74/75 Paioli top yoke, that Morini did use on the Strada. I have a Paioli forked Morini in my shed, i shall make a picture of the yoke.

I think this one is interesting for the Sports people here.

Your yokes are 2nd and later series Sport (with Sport badge), the first Strada's yoke from 1973 (but i also see them on later bikes) and the later ones from 1974 and onward into the 80's.

Ciao, Tom

Note: the two roundings near where the steering clamps are, are 10,5 cm from centre to centre, that's the perfect distance to tap two M8 holes, and from that you can attach the Morini instrument holder (1976 and onwards) onto the top yoke.
