in dark blue, the color of my feelings parting with this bike ;) Older restauration (2001), but restauration continued from that moment and now pretty much finished through my hands recently.

Goes like a (little) train, so to speak, engine is full of life even thought it's still on it's original Ducati ignition. Rolling chassis feels superb, just wants to get going, and braking is not a problem at all with this two leading stopper. But you have to be on your mark in the wet.

Restauration is documented in a Dutch classic car/motorcycle enthousiast magazine.

Work done on this bike:

-Dutch registration says June 1974, this means ball bearings left and right to support the crank. All ball bearings were replaced for SKF's, but only the right main bearing was replaced for a plain bearing to represent the V-twins that the factory built from 1977/78 and onward. This is very much noticable when riding, and makes a much smoother less vibrating motor. Piston rings renewed, gaskets and seals new. Also the little bugger made of aluminium went out of the gearbox and replaced by the bronze fork, the factory made a mistake with this one in 1973, so now corrected.
-Paint redone in 2001, and the former owner choose a darker tint of blue, but with the same factory metallic finish. Frame, parts etc. powdercoated high gloss black, new bearings for the rolling chassis.
-New chrome rims and stainless spokes.
-All the Dellorto stuff renewed inside. Gives a big smile at the gas station also.
-Electronic Rev counter was rebuilt, with modern electronics. Rev indication is now much more stable and accurate.
-cleaned/ polished aluminium and polished stainless steel on eyecatching nuts and bolts
-new chrome on Marzocchi shocks (rebuilt also), downpipes, heat shield, kickstarter, mudguard stays, new mufflers back in 2001 (still look very shiny), all the other chrome is the original finish, so don't expect an example in mint condition, but this one can turn out into one if you like to.
-New battery, spark cables and plugs, rubber parts.
-Fitted classic looking chromed indicators instead of the plactics, LED in taillight.

Think i am missing parts of the story, but can give some extra info when there is interest.

Can supply pick up at Harwich port, just before the Br(exit). Or collect near The Hague which is 10 miles from Hook of Holland. Paperwork for import, not a problem. Selling abroad since there is not much interest for Moto Morini in the Netherlands.
