Morini SEI 500 1982

This is my first post being a new member on the forum. I have acquired along with some other motorcycles a 1982 Morini 500 SEI. It is an unrestored example with Tarozzi clip ons and rear sets, which although fitted required the kick starter spacer (so I’m informed).
Could anyone advise me whether to sell as is and if so what price can I expect, or should I refurbish the bike and sell it on completion? Any advice would be much appreciated.

You should sell to me 'as is' for £500... :)

In my opinion, 3k ish restored.

Not sure unrestored, but willing to make a reasonable offer. What needs doing to it?

Looks pretty good as it is, may not be worth your while to 'restore' it.

IMHO, give it a good clean and a service, leave it alone and ride it!.

The kickstart lever looks like a standard 500 one I think? I'm not sure you can get a displacer block for those. The sought after 350 Sport alloy pivoting lever plus such a block is the one you want. NLM used to do swan neck levers though.

You have the correct kickstart for a displacer/ Its the same as the 350, which you will need, unless you like welding the digestive-biscuit like material that Tarozzis are made from every time you kickstart it. NLM sell the displacers which are a great fit

You need the folding footpeg option as well as the kickstart extender.

Of course the electric start can be made to work reliably, then you don't need the kickstart.

I do not have kick starters on either of my bikes as the starter motors are 100% reliable.

Start with a good battery...
