Another Spanish 'later' one I see. They must have sold quite a few there. I bet it has a weird ignition canister 'thing' too.

There are loads of Morinis on the Spanish auction / sales sites - especially 350 Excaliburs and 250 Vees.

"A number have been modified with 350cc engines (they bolt straight in with modifications to the rocker cover) for Hill Climbing or surprising riders of larger bikes."

I couldn't possibly comment. ;)

hehe, good one, even without mods...

Ps I saw a bare 250 frame (a single it seems) for sale near Verona, no paperwork. I could pass it on to anyone interested!

Best not Pete - I still have that photo of you at the Gooseneck the year you did the Mountain course on closed roads courtesy of the VMCC (such splendid chaps), you were just passing a BSA (?) 650 I recall...

Good riding,

CC

Indeed :) Unfortunately, I think these days you only get to do a few laps of Jurby unless your machine has true racing pedigree. I was planning to take the GFR next year as it will be 25 years old, but I won't bother if I can't take it over the Mountain on closed roads.
