Hello Tom
Does the headlamp have a glass marked CEV 244 in it?
My X1 glass is cracked so looking for a replacement glass if possible.
Best regards

Hi Ian,

I don't think so, it's the same as the front light of the square type frame Kanguro's/ Camel's, the XE and X2.

Kanguro X X1 had a different type of narcelle/headlight, but i will drop the number of this one when i have checked.

Hi Tom,

Do the master cylinder have a brake light switch on these units and what size cylinder is it? I'm after a replacement for an early 500.

Cheers,

Adrian

@ Ian, it's a CEV 254

@Adrian, yes there is a little switch /brake light indicator. It thinks it's a 13 mm. Morini used this size to operate their smaller 32mm 'Enduro style' calipers.
The 39mm piston Grimeca calipers (350) used 16mm master cilinder, the 41mm calipers and twin disc set up (500) had a 19mm master cilinder.

But i will check on this one, because the caliper you see it not the enduro caliper, also the Excalibur used a single 260mm disc.

It's a 12 mm piston for the Grimeca.

So, will be to small for your 500 is guess..

Tom
Thanks for checking the headlamp glass number for me.
On another question, is there a source to obtain a spare ignition key? My existing one is a CEV one with a number on it
Thanks

A key specialist can remake the key, they even can do it with/ if you only have / the ignition lock.

Did this with a Kanguro ignition switch once, worked fine!
