Coguaro 501 for sale

Post by RHThomas »

Coguaro 501

I bought this bike as a very unfinished project in 2013 from a member of this forum, in a pretty much completely disassembled state.

The bike currently has about 28,000 kms on the clock and has done around 1500 kms since being rebuilt. It is MOTd until 30th Nov.
It was first registered in the UK in 1998 and is on an 'F' plate.

A mountain of receipts and old MOTs are available. Here is a brief list of work carried out:

Engine completely rebuilt by NLM
Including:
New main bearings and big end bearings
New pistons, valves, valve guides
New korkusan alternator
New clutch
New oil seals throughout.
New starter blocks

New wheel bearings, swing arm bushes
Wheels rebuilt with stainless spokes on original Akront rims & hubs.
New Hagon shock made 20mm shorter (standard size Hagon included) side strand shortened to suit, full length side stand included.

Frame, Swinging arm fork legs etc powder coated

New side panels & tail section

All body work & plasticware resprayed to a high standard

Brakes rebuilt with new seals & pistons, new disks, pads & hoses

New headlights, indicators front & rear, battery.

New chain & sprockets

Exhaust header pipes ceramic coated, stainless silencers, silencer covers powder coated.

Seat recovered

Avon Distanzia tyres

The bike is located in Wiltshire.

PM me with any questions or interest.

Cheers,
Robin

Hi Graham,

Thanks for your offer of a swap, whilst I love Ducatis more than the next man, I'm trying to reduce the number of bikes I've got I'm afraid - though if you were offering a Monster 1000/1100 I would be sorely tempted....

Cheers,
Robin

Very interested. I’ve been looking for one for a longtime. I’d prefer if you could email me as I keep forgetting to check the forum. ddgray100@gmail.com
I’m in Scotland. Where exactly are you.
If you could let me know price and email me some photos.
David Gray.
