250 2C much modified Frame FREE if collected

Post by 72degrees »

I'm finally getting down round to the great de-clutter required by plans for downsizing.

In shed#1 I have a 250 2C frame surplus to requirements. I can't remember who sold it to me, but they must have been another 'racer', because it has the rear loop sawn off and all uncessary for basic operation brackets, including transducer mounts. Minus steering lock 'tube' and even lock stops (though it has a plate welded across the down tubes just under the steering head). No swing arm, just bare frame.

At one time, I had a plan to build a 2C/350 hill climber using it. I did that project but based on a complete Spanish barn find 2C. I'm never going to use this one, so before it goes to the scrap man, if anyone wants it and can collect it (after lockdown naturally) they can have it. No V5, pretty obviously.

Oh well, not until I have used it for trialing a method for reclaiming the oval front engine mounting lug holes on the hack. If I make a mess of it on this one it's no big deal ;)

Gone to a good home by the sound of it. Anyone who has heard of the Morini christened 'Piglet' is likely to use it in an appropriate way.

Hi.
I am looking for both footrests for 250c or 125h
Were there any with frame when you got it?
They are getting hard to find.

From Somerset way? Radstock perhaps?

Sound about right. There were at least 3 'Piglets' but not all were Morinis.

Another former Morini hill climber also hails from not far from there.

That's not the purchasers location though.
