Perhaps it's one of the early VSTOL versions? 
Not much in the way of modification needed for a sought after bike, though.

Couple more pictures.
This is a one owner bike that has covered only 10k miles. It still has the original dealer's sticker and is still on the original tyres!
The "aftermarket" indicators have been removed!!!

Have been to an Italian day today had a lot of interest in bike and it seems it's a1973 registered in 1974 and its a real gem
