Kickstart "Boss"

Post by George 350 »

Hi All,
During my recent trip to Spain, my complete kickstart assembly disappeared off the bike while on a motorway, never to be seen again by me. This was the only thing to go wrong in 2750 miles in 3 weeks.
To get me back on the road without having to push start all the time, the bit I really need is the 'boss' - the bit with the splines in it, part number 38.01.16, that fixes to the shaft coming out of the clutch case. The rest of the bits I can make myself.

Has anyone got an old one lurking in the shed that they are willing to sell?
Many Thanks,
George.

Hi Tom,
Yes, that is what I need as a start. Is it for sale? If so, how much would it be?
Thanks, George.
